How long does it take for my order to be shipped ?

What happens if my package gets lost ?

The company works with the Made to Order system : allow 4 to 14 days for your order to be crafted, you will be notified with an email as soon as your order will be dispatched. Please contact us if you need more information.

Do you cover duties and customs on orders ?

While we continue to offer free shipping on all full-price orders, orders are subject to import tax and duties in some areas of the globe. Taxes and duties will be automatically applied at check-out for every order, contingent on the exchange rate at the time of purchase. Customs duties and taxes are non-refundable through Shōjo Kai. However, your local custom bureau may be able to assist you with a duty refund.

Our company does not cover duties and taxes for international orders. All duties and taxes must be prepaid at checkout. If additional duties and taxes are levied as a result of insufficient information the customer may be assessed penalties or additional charges at the time of import which Shōjo Kai is not liable for.

Do you charge VAT ?

All prices displayed on our website are inclusive of VAT (Value Added Tax). You will not be charged at check-out.

Can I cancel or modify my order ?

To cancel or to modify your order please contact us at info@shojokai.com. Once our atelier has processed and order we will no longer be able to cancel or to modify it.

How long does a return or exchange take to process ?

Our atelier strives to process returns within 3 business days or your return being received. Please note that during high volume times it can take up to 7 business days for your return to be processed. 

Please e-mail us at info@shojokai.com. If your package is lost in transit, we will do everything we possibly can to assist you. However, we are not responsible for packages once proof of delivery is generated.

What should I do if my item is damaged or defected ?

All of our products go through a vigorous quality check, but if you should receive a damaged or defective item please contact us immediately at info@shojokai.com with photos clearly showing the damage or defect.

How do I track my order ?

Once your order has been shipped you will receive an e-mail from our services with a tracking number to the e-mail address you provided us when the order is placed. Please note that if you don't provide us a valid e-mail address, we won't be able to send you informations regarding your orders, such as confirmations and shipping processes. 

If you have not received an order confirmation e-mail, please contact us at info@shojokai.com so we can verify that the correct e-mail address was provided. 

Do I need an accound to make an online purchase ?

No, you may checkout as a guest, but we do suggest making an account to keep track of all your order details in one place and so that we can better assist you in the future.
